i love you, juris: a hangover on mymp @ tapika

With_juris_tapika I LOVE YOU, JURIS!!! :D

damn! we watched MYMP at tapika bar at katipz last wednesday. i was even contemplating on watching comet’s tail with bagetsofonik and cynthia alexander in club halo. but i still ended up in tapika with my boss gv, his friends: patrick and gorgeous ella, my bandmate: ae, his girlfriend, ayi, and my peer group in xaymaca: mytha, and her friends: olga and abby.

and it was a perfect choice after all.

With_mytha_tapika at first, the place was full. too bad we got lounge seats below (juris and chin were performing at the second floor). pero ok lang. after 2 sets, konti nalang tao. kya we went na sa 2nd floor.

at first, d ganon ang impact nila. same din sila pakinggan sa tv or sa mp3. and boss gv and i were even joking that simple lang pala yung pyesa ni chin kapag live. chords din, nilalaro lang nya yung strumming. kayang-kaya.

pero si juris talaga ang nagdadala sa mymp. uber-kewlness talaga syang pakinggan ng live. especially for you, tell me where it hurts, kailan, and every little thing she does is magic. astig talaga. at la kaming makukuhang vocalist na ganun ka-cute, kagaling at kabait.

over all, panalo! kahit we ended up having a flat tire on our way home, ok pa rin. si chin, gwapo lang kapag mahawak na gitara. at da best talaga si juris.

next week, sa bagaberde naman! :D

On Automated Lisensure Examination

St. Lukes College of Nursing, one of the educational units of Trinity College of Quezon City (TCQC), has expressed support for automated licensure examination that will soon be implemented by the Professional Regulation Commission.

Ms. Ester Lopez-Dimanlig, Ed.D., Acting Dean of St. Lukes College of Nursing, says that the automation of exams and results generation will greatly enhance the efficiency of test administration activities of PRC.

Dubbed as the Walk-In Examination System (WES), the automated exam service is the first module under the R19.9 million Licensure Examination and Registration System (LERIS) project of PRC. WES is a desktop application system that allows applicants to have walk-in computer-based examination scheduling, conduct of examination, and examination grading where, upon completion of each subject and the entire examination, the examinee is notified of the results immediately.

PRC management information system (MIS) chief Priscilla C. Reyes says that WES will be pilot-tested with the marine officers examinations this April, while implementation of the same with the other professions like the nurses and medical technologists will be on a phased basisdepending on the readiness of the concerned regulatory board. PRCs web-based Licensure Examination and Registration Information System is also expected to be completed by the end of the year.

Accredited by the Philippine Accreditation Agency for Schools, Colleges and Universities, Trinity College - St. Lukes College of Nursing is one of the best schools of nursing in the country today, having St. Lukes Medical Center as the base hospital. It is the product of the partnership between sister institutions Trinity College of Quezon City and St. Lukes Medical Center, both owned and organized by the Philippine Episcopal Church in concord with the Philippine Independent Church.

thanks to dennis for the info. :D

it’s over.

"the greatest songs are written while listening to the eerie rhythm of sobs, looking thru the hazeness of tears and feeling the pain of a love gone bad."
