working in cvu-3 of st. luke’s medical center, i’ve already encountered some bizarre medical situations. here are some:

1. a case of medication ingestion: 7 capsules of 500 mg vitamin c tablets (intentional).
2. a patient with history of present illness of vaginal insertion of softdrink bottle.
3. a case of cosmetic ingestion: 1/2 cup of hydrogen peroxide (intentional).
4. a patient with blood pressure 200/100, asymptomatic.
